2002 S80 Blower motor problems

So a few months back the blower motor started kicking on when the car was off, a tell tale sign of a bad resistor I read, and a couple of weeks ago all air cut out completely. It would then come back on randomly over bumps, around corners, etc.

So I ordered up a resistor and blower motor, figured I would replace both while I was there, did the replacement and still I have nothing. I haven't been able to drive it for a bit and see if it kicks back on randomly like it did before but I am not sure where to go next.

Any advice would be appreciated, I tried to pull fuses and saw nothing blown.

Also, the write-up here made install/removal pretty easy, besides that one screw...
