1999 V70 R ETM Installation

Post by TurdSnack »

I just got a new ETM from XeMODeX and I want to install it. I've removed my ETM before just never had to unplug it. Does anyone have any experience with it and know how hard the installation is? I know that the plug is somewhere near the starter from the videos that I've seen of people replacing them.

You have to remove the starter bracket, it's tucked behind it.

The plug is actually close to the front engine hydraulic mount and has 6 connectors. If the factory ETM is fitted you'll need to undo 2 x 10mm nuts and 1 x 12mm bolt through the starter bracket.
