1993 960 Sedan - Fuel Tank Leaking
Hi there, i recently tried to put 8 gallons in the car from empty and pool of gas appeared as i was pumping, i am going to try dropping the tank like i have read is required on the 850's but wanted to try get the right parts in place if possible beforehand. obviously i dont know where the leak is from exactly but i figured since the hoses are probably 21 years old i might benefit from replacing them all. does anyone know what part numbers i need to be looking at or has anyone experienced this same issue and can let me know what the root cause was for them?

Are you sure it's the tank leaking? The tank is plastic. Maybe check all the fill tube and vent hoses. The hoses can be accessed from the trunk area. The fuel gauge sending unit where hoses connect is under an access cover behind the rear seat.

Answering my own questions sorry....just called Volvo and they said its the same part just from 2 different vendors. Which is weird because prices are very different between them online.
Oh well. i hope this helps others looking for clarification. now i just gotta order the part and try tackle this issue soon.
