Everything on the Volvo S80. Sometimes called an "executive car", the S80 was Volvo's top-of-the-line passenger car. P2 platform.

All the leaks I've had on my car (same year/model etc) have been hoses, waterpump and hose to pipe interfaces are you sure it's from the block? The PVC system has coolant hoses too so that's another possibility.

Are there coolant drips or pooling under the car, or does it seem to disappear 'without trace' ?

The other option might be the head gasket... Take a whiff of the coolant - it shouldn't smell oily...

Look under the bumper, driver's side, for a hole, if there's a plug (usually takes a t30 OR t40 Torx socket) it's in plastic and needs not be forced or it's breaks. Hand tighten back. There could also be a coolant behind the engine block - not sure about this
