My 745gl did 750.000km befor i sold it
my 945gl has done 410.000km and is still going strong
My friends 245 dl has done 999.000km (thats all the way around the klock) on the one and same engine.
As long as you take care of it and change the oil every 10.000km it will keep ticking.
