86 850 Help removing auto transmission

Post by wild03 »

Any good tutorials on how to remove the auto transmission? Anyone knows the model of transmission on these cars?

I found a tutorial but the author removes both the engine and transmission.

Also, any tutorials on how to remove the transmission valve body for cleaning?

Thanks

The valve body can be accessed from the front however you will need an engine support bar so you can drop the subframe down in that corner.

Look in the P2 2001-2009 repair database for valve body replacement procedure. There's a great write up there.
