04 07 s60 Bumper differences

Post by skloon »

I have a front clip from an 04 s60, I have the opportunity to get an 07 s60 needing the whole front end as well as rear bumper covers, I see the hood and fenders are the same what are the differences on the bumper covers and will the older ones fit the newer car ?

the bumpers will fit the newer car no problem and since you have a whole front clip you shouldn't need to buy anything to make it fit only difference is the side corner plastics that the bumper attaches to, even if you do need to buy them they are about $25 a piece at the dealer, then if you are using the old headlights then you will have to manually wire it into the new car as they changed the plugs, I have done what you are doing, using older looking body parts on newer volvo's at least 10 times

Thanks I was a bit worried that my clever plan may not work, the 07 only has 55000 mi and will replace an 850 with 290000
