help Volvo 440GL problem

Hi,

I have a Volvo 440GL with 110 000 kms.

Recently the car has following problem.

When I first start the engine in the morning and drive a short time, there is always noise came from front wheel area, after driving for a while , the noise disappered, I have asked the wheel mechanic to inspect the wheel and he didn't find anything, now the noise become louder and louder.

Also I noticed that sometimes when I drive the car , the red ABS alarm suddently flashed, sometimes I had to stop somewhere and restart the engine to let ABS disappeared.

Could anybody give me some advices on these issues ?

But since there is no forum section for his car, what is he to do, Jim?
I know nothing about a 440. Is it anything like an 850? I noticed he or someone else with a 440 also posted in the same section over on the brickboard...no place there to post about a 440 either.

But no one has ever posted in that section for the 440 either, so I doubt he'll get much response there either.
