Hi
I have standard seats that come with D5 S AWD model and want to know if I can fit different leather electric seats from another model even though mine aren't electric?

Not sure here. I did a seat swap on my S60 and had to move all the electronics over. Does your car have the harness under the seats now? The main concern I have is that there is a module under the seats and that may have to be turned on by Volvo via software. Everything is interconnected so one or more modules may need to be programmed. I suppose you could try asking the dealer, but I doubt they have a clue.
So two issues: 1) Do you have the required harness to connect? 2) Do you need software to tie it into the system.
Pulling the seat is pretty easy, just be careful as you may trigger the Airbag light. Best approach is to disconnect battery. I would see if a yard or shop will let you try - try it there on the spot. It is four bolts, four covers and a few plugs and maybe the seatbelt. You should have some sort of harness there now - at least for the airbag and/or seat warmers. If I recall correctly my XC90 has three plugs - the third is the seat motor control portion which you may be missing. How the plugs work is pretty straight forward.

This is a big pain in the butt... i have tried to change seats because of an internal color change project (from dark gray to beige) Everything went well (floor carpets, doors, even the dashboard) but the front seats. Mine had different connectors and on the passenger side the new seat would became motorized and heated. After hours of discussion with technicians I have changed only the leather. "Skinned" the leather from the new seat and placed onto the old one. The seat frame remains the same, only the colored leather had been changed...
