While replacing the Stock Spark Plug wires with IPD HP Spark Plug wires, I noticed some screw holes not filed by screws and a hole in the center that is not filled. Not sure what was to be screwed into those empty holes or what should be covering that hole in the middle, as seen in the pic. Should there be something there? Also, is there suppose to be oil under the spark plug cover? Cleaned that up before replacing the plug wires. Will be replacing the spark plugs very soon too. Just wondering what that's about. Thoughts?

Aside from checking your PCV,the rubber gasket on the oil fill cap is probably worn causing oil to seep put. Also inspect the hose coming up through the intake manifold to the top of the cylinder head inspecting for cracks.
No cracks in the hose coming from the Intake manifold. Don't know if I even have PCV on this car. Can't find any evidence in 8 years of service records that PCV was ever done. No problems with Rubber gasket on the iPD HD oil filler cap (that was a recent replacement). What is the hole in the middle? What are the empty screw holes for? Was something removed and not put back? There was an incident a couple years ago where me mum removed the oil filler cap, filled it with oil, didn't put it back on, and oil got all over the place under hood. It's possible that this was from that. I'll be replacing the spark plugs soon, so I'll be going under the cover soon and will note if there is any more oil coming out. My oil level hasn't gone down since the last pint top off, so, we shall see...

The pcv "oil separator box" is under the intake manifold, so you need to remove the manifold to service it. First, do the glove test: with engine warmed up and idling, place a nitrile glove across the oil filler hole. If there is pressure building inside the engine, it will push air into the glove. If the glove is pushed out that means the breather system is clogged and it's time to service it. Search for tutorials on this site for how and what to do and what not to do.
If pressure is allowed to build up inside the engine, it can blow out camshaft seals and maybe your rear main bearing seal, which is a major repair.
If you have pressure and can't fix it right away, pull out your oil dipstick a 1/4 inch which will let some of the pressure off.

Don't worry about those holes. The car is "pre-holed" for something your model does not support. All of these cars have them.

The good news is, I did the glove test, car running and warm. No pressure against the glove, so the PCV must've been done before I got the car. Just can't find any record of it.
