1998 V70 Knock sensor broken wire

While I had the input manifold off doing a PCV change - I noticed that one of my Knock Sensors had a broken wire. My question is - will my volvo still operate with just one knock sensor.

It will run but not optimally. It will also trigger the Lambda light.

Can you splice the wire back together or did it break right at the sensor?

unfortunately it broke off at the point where it enters the sensor

I have a spare I got from a junkyard for my 1999 if you wNt. I had a knock sensor code which turned out to be something else. Pm me with an address if interested, I'll find part number and post
