2004 C70 Convert. Hardwire Question (Satellite Radio)

Post by irishstout »

I have searched and found some things that are close but does anyone have advice on how I can hardwire an accessory Cigarette Socket?

I have pulled out the center tray below the ashtray and can see a couple wires that look like they may be coming from the existing cigarette lighter (light pinkish orange and black wire) and I would liek to tap into them but wondered if anyone had tried this.

Also, any suggestions on where to put the magnetic antenna for a satellite radio? We have the convertible and I am tempted to put on the cover that lifts up to store the roof but am worried about the movement.

Thanks, Sean
