1995 850 GLT Rough Vibration at 2600 RPM

Hello All,

My 850 seems to have developed a rough vibration at 2600 RPM. Regardless of whether or not it's in park, neutral, reverse, or drive; the vibration, which feels like a rough idle, appears at that specific RPM. Definitely apparent when driving. It disappears at 3000+. Could it be in the exhaust? The mechanics initially thought it was the harmonic balancer, which was indeed loose, but a new harmonic balancer has not fixed the issue. Mechanics said the engine mounts are in very good shape as well. Vehicle has about 300,000 miles on it. Any thoughts?

Sounds like an exhaust resonance. I had a horrible one on my Eurovan which was fixed with a 3 dollar rubber mount
