Hello from a new member.
Hi everyone! I wanted to stop by and introduce myself to everybody. I recently purchased a Volvo S70 after wanting one for years. I wanted to thank everyone on here for the vast amount of info that's been shared, because it really helped immensely in educating me and ultimately finding an S70 that was maintained and in good working order. Maintaining and diy work on cars is one of my passions, so I will be sharing as much of my own knowledge and experiences as they come. So hello again- Paul

Welcome Paul, You can't go wrong with a well maintained S70, possibly the most under rated Volvo as some look down on them for being a "face lifted 850", but had mine for over 4 years and it really is a fantastic car.

Totally agree on the look. I prefer the facelifted look too. I went through alot of searching to find mine. I had a blast with everything from broken hood latches, to " oh that engine light is just for the cam sensor, might of just jumped a tooth but she runs" lol... This one is a gem. Going to go for the title and make her last.

Thank you! Unfortunately no..my other car is a 5spd and I've been driving standard most of my life so I guess I get to relax a bit now .unless you meant the auto maybe? from my reading I also am aware this is a 5speed automatic and the fluid differences being the 3309 spec versus the former dex 3. In the prior years. I feel really lucky i found this car it was a quest ha ha
