Hard shifts and shift flare

Hey guys. Quick question. I bought my 2006 S60R five weeks ago and noticed hard shifting in and out of third the next day. No big deal, I was looking into it, but not extremely concerned then 5 weeks later it starts flaring and slamming into the next gear. Also it gave me a "Transmission performance low" warning Not sure what gear but on the lower end at low speeds. I've read that It could be a few things. Shift solenoids or software updates. Does anybody have any experience with this?

You know now why the po sold the car

If the transmission fluid looks dark, there is still a chance fresh fluid and new solenoids can help somehow. But if the fluid is clear cherry, it might mean the po already tried it all
