I am having some difficulty with a previously installed oil pressure gauge (VDO) electronic by previous owner. Has anyone here installed a gauge using factory port in block? I want to keep factory sender while also adding a variable pressure sender that will work with my VDO gauge - this will require a "T" and having reached out to IPD with no success, I am wondering if anyone on this site has done so? Never imagined that adding an oil pressure gauge would be so difficult on an 850 . . . .

Btw, when you install that thing, see if you can't get some pics and do a little write-up of your process - it'd be great to have that info around here as well. It may be lurking somewhere, but I couldn't find it here, only on VS.

I think I understand now why this is such a pain . . .btw, if you remove the fan/fan shroud as a unit, the sender switch access is quite accessible so really no need to remove intake
