Good morning all,
Yesterday I replaced a faulty ignition coil on my '04 C70, 2.4l, but the CEL remained on. Do I need an OBDII scanner to turn it off?

Generally, yes. You could go down to your local auto parts store and borrow one (most of them have one you can use). Eventually though the CEL will turn itself off.
