I have a 2005 xc90 t6. Last night I was repairing a wire from the left side low beam when a downpour turned up. I shut the hood and decided to finish in the morning.
The next morning I completed the wire repair for the low beam and then I turned the lights on. Right then, both front side parking and side marker lights went out. Also, I noticed that the courtesy light does not automatically turn on as it use to before when opening the doors. However, I can turn the courtesy light off and on from the inside.
I checked the light bulbs and there was one bulb on the left side for parking that had blown but all the other bulbs are fine. All other lights and light functions work fine and I don't have any error messages.
I did discover that the front parking and side marker light socket have no juice going to them. I initially thought it might be a blown fuse but I can't find a bad fuse. Any help or thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks
Lights have no power

Describe your wiring repair. It sounds like something is shorted, or open in your circuit.
Current Volvos:
1998 V70 T5, 112k sat 5 years, still in mechanical coma (finally at the top of the pile )
2004 XC90 T6 AWD: 186k, 60 on transaxle ( traded in )
1998 POS70 N/A: DD/training aid, 236k but really about 240k, I think...ABS module( passed on to son who sold it)
