My 2008 Volvo XC90, 3.2 AWD "Check Engine Light" lit up on the dashboard. It has been burning more fuel and lacking power during acelleretaion. I plugged in the Vida and pointed out the Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor. I just replaced it yesterday. So far the CEL has not pop up. My questions are:
1. Are the Ignition Coils normal? The 5th coil from the left is so dark
2. Are the Sparkplugs ok? I replaced these a year ago. The 6th plug from the left has lots of carbon
3. I also craked the locking mechanism of one of the injectors connector. Are these replaceable?
Any input will be much appreciated. Have a nice day.

What was the issue with the fuel pressure sensor?
I would expect a fuel pressure sensor issue to affect all injectors similarly.
How long have the plugs been in? Mine had a 75k service interval, I changed them at about 80k. If it's near due, probably wouldn't hurt to change them.
Any chance oil could be leaking in to the one coil that's discolored? Is it near the oil fill to catch spillover?

Those sparkplugs are less than a year old
There is no evidence that oil is leaking into the coils.
The CEL is now gone. The high fuel consumption and lack of power during acceleration are my current problem. From a full tank, I drove 85 miles (highway and city combine) the tank is now just over 50%. In short, if the tank is 21 gallons, I already burned at least 10 gallons for 85 miles.
Im exploring the possibiliy of bad:
1. Oxygen Sensor
2. MAF
3. Clogged injectors
4. Bad brake calipers
5.. Fuel Filter (just replaced when I replaced the sparkplugs)

The brakes are pretty straightforward to check - after a drive, put your hand near and see how hot they feel. (But be careful not to touch - in case it is very hot!) Somewhat hot is normal. Extremely hot is not normal and may indicate an issue.
You might try swapping the coils to different locations. If the discolored spark plug moves, then it suggests a failing coil. If not, then coil is probably fine.
Clogged injectors - Possibly. Or possibly one with something blocked in it. You could try swapping them around, too, and see if the spark plug follows it. Or run some techron through it for a tank or two. Might but probably won't help, but it won't hurt and it might improve things.
