850 Bad Knock
So we are still trying to diagnose this loud knock/noise on our 1995 850 non-turbo. So far, checked timing, replaced serpentine belt, spark plugs, fuel filter, coolant temp sensor, distributor cap, It does now start right up, and drive with decent power, it just sounds awful. Does anyone know what could possibly be wrong? Thank ahead of time for any help you guys can offer.

I have a video on my phone but it didn't let me post it. How do I go about uploading it? The noise is constant, cold, warm, idle and full gas.

Fixing rod knock? Not a mechanic, also only paid $500 for the car. Is it worth it? Willing to put in the work but don't want to put a ton of money into a car that won't run.
had an awful knock on my rebuilt engine , turned out x3 of my tappets had lost all oil .
changed them out for new but still a bit clicky, needs running at highway speeds , as it will take a while for them to settle in apparently.

Sounds like a lifter. Or lifters.
Are you dead sure all timing marks are set right?
This was the result of my timing being off one tooth on the bottom (results in 3 up top).
