Plug wire confusion Topic is solved

Hi folks. Getting ready to order some tune up parts and my searching here points me to Bougicord as the best choice. FCP has them for $48. They also list a "Genuine Volvo" set of wires for $106. So if the Bougicord is best, what's the deal with what I assume the $106 wires are blue box?

If money was not a problem would you buy the $106?

The blue box has Bougicord wires inside. I would buy two sets of Bougicords and give away the extra 10 bucks before I would buy that particular blue box. And don;t get me wrong, I like the Volvo-barnded parts in general.

Bougicord is OEM. No need to spend more.
I usually use rmeuropean dot com.

If you buy $106 Genuine Volvo wires you get the same $48 Bougicord wires packed in blue Volvo box.

Bougicord is OEM and Genuine Volvo wires are Bougicord with addition of "VOLVO" stamped on the cable.

You would just pay extra $58 for pretty expensive blue Volvo box and would get exactly the same part.
