reuse PCV parts?
About six years ago, all the the PCV parts were professionally replaced, but I have excess pressure again, with all the symptoms of a clogged PCV system. So under the manifold I go. I plan to put in the larger 5/8" hose, but can I reuse any of the existing parts? I'm not being cheap, but No need to spend is there is no need for it....

I reuse the hoses but not the container. Be sure to get a OIL rated hose, not a heater core hoes nor silicone hose.
Get 3 ft and ship it to your house.

If the container (oil trap) is 6 years old, I'd re-use it.
Just clean it first to be sure no clog.
The 5/8-inch hose you mentioned should be good.
I did that mod 3 years ago, so far so good, this is the thread on the 5/8-inch hose mod.
PS: I used regular heater hose (not fuel-oil rated hose), so far so good, zero issues 3 years later:

Before diving in, remove the intake pipe at the turbo and see if the metal tube the vac line going to the box is clogged. Also pull on the large & small rigid lines as they tend to crack inside the foam tube, meaning no vacuum makes it to "the box". Both times mine have cracked right below the distributer.
Back out the oil dipstick to relieve the pressure.
Do you use 100% synthetic oil?

Thanks - I'll check those hoses.
I pulled out the dipstick and slid a 5/8" hose over the dipstick tube that vents under the car...

No, I don't use synthetic. It's a near 250K car. I use 10/40.
So I need just the intake manifold gasket and a new hose?

I'm going to look for a picture of that. I was just in there to replace the rubber coolant pipe.......
