So I have an ABS light on my Volov's dashboard. After doing some research I find that indicates a fault in either the module, the pump or one (or more) sensors - but most likely the module or pump. Occasionally the ABS light will go away, but never for very long.
My plan is to get an OBDII code reader and determine the problem. Does anyone know one that will read the VOLVO specific ABS codes? Also which codes should I be looking for?
If its the module I plan on taking it out and shipping it to be rebuilt.
2005 V70 ABS advice.

Vida/Dice clone all the way. Some of the Autels will read ABS and SRS codes but if you want an all rounder that will do it all stick with the above.
Disadvantage is that you need a PC laptop with Win 7 Pro

Clear the codes then read them out when they ABS light comes back.
I want to say there are far more reports of ABS codes from wheel sensors than bad modules reported here.
My AUTEL 8xx series reads and clears everything except a couple of esoteric codes on our BMW.

Dice is the hardware that plugs into the car and has a USB cable to connect to the PC. Vida is the software that interprets the car information.
