coolant fan relay Topic is solved

Ordered a new relay, my fan doesnt seem to be coming on this has been ongoing for some time, luckly it was warm weather and I had my a/c on most times. Ive read its not uncommon for the fan not to come on less over 216' though my fan has always worked for years., Ok so Ive checked the relay, would not come on when I turned a/c on, I tapped the relay with my flashlight, it came on, then went off,next day the a/c fan works fine, this tap with my flashlight gives me reason to beleive that is why Im not getting high speed, ok that said, Im not bothering with it until I get my new relay, but it seems that its rather hard to disconnect the three plugs on the relay safely, any helpful suggestions???

The connectors are more easily removed if you remove the relay from the shroud first. Just pull the relay back towards the engine and it will pop out of the slots on the shroud. Once out you will see the release tabs for each of the connectors but even with the tabs pressed the connectors take a fair amount of force to remove since the rubber rings to seal out moisture tend to stick to the socket.

Yeah, Thanks Lee, went to the jy yesterday for something else, go figure I found a coolant relay, connectors came right out, waiting for my new one to install, last time I was at the JY I didnt see any this time I found two after I already ordered one,Oh well,least maybe this way Ill know for sure, JYs can be a hit and miss, got some fantastic other deals though.....
