s70 t5 Auto to Manual help

Hi, as the subject says I want to convert my auto to manual and I'd like some help or rather info about a few thing.

I have a 1999MY S70T5 so i'm running the Bosch ME7 ecu (computer controlled throttle). Most of the information i've come across online for doing the conversion is info on the older s70 (the one without computer controlled throttle).
So i was wondering if anyone knows info on a few questions i have, i'm having difficulty in sourcing S70 parts i'll list them out.

Transmission
1. Can an 850 gearbox work?
2. Can a C70 T5 (2003MY to 2005MY) gearbox work?
3. Can the gearbox from a 2.4 or 2.5 engine work?

Shifter
1. Can the manual shifter assembly from any 850 work?
2. Can the manual shifter assembly from any C70 work?

Pedals
1. Can the manual pedals from an 850 work?
2. Can the manual pedals from a C70 work?

Finally
If anyone has parts for the conversion that i can use i'm willing to buy.

One of the best resources for sorting out the part numbers is lisle Volvo parts.

They put good exploding parts diagrams down on the web so you could compare the shifter parts there

You will need Henry to program your ECU to not expect an automatic transmission.

I have a colleague who travels between the US and Trinidad regularly who may be able to help bring small parts in.

All M56H will work. 850 have external slave cylinder while 98.5 + S70/V70 have internal slave cylinder. You have to get the hydraulic setup that matches the transmission.

Any M56H shifter/cables should work. Color of boot and knob might be different.

850 pedals will not work. You have to get the same generation c70/v70/s70 pedals for your s70.

You'll also have to decide if you want to use single mass flywheel setup (prefer) or dual mass flywheel setup (more expensive, single use only flywheel)

I believe all of the M56H transmission prior to 1999 have EXTERNAL slave cylinders. The one I pulled from a '95 850 has an external slave cylinder.

Nope, my 98 was an internal slave. External to Internal slave was a mid year change. There are chassis numbers you can look up when the exact change was.

My 850 has an external slave. Never seen an 850 with an internal slave from the factory.

You can use any gearbox with any slave setup- it may prove tricky to find the correct hose- I had make my own up to mate an 850 master to 05 s60 internal slave- the shifter mechanisms will work on any car- sort of- it is best to match the shifter mechanism to the transmission I used the spaceball in my 850 with a boot- the bolt holes did not line up in the floor so I had to install some theaded inserts pedals are model specific betweeen 850 s70 s60 but I don't know about c70- I would pick the ones from your existing car as they can be a pita to install

You are going to need a clutch switch which talks to the ECU as well as a wiring harness which supports that. This serves both as a neutral start switch and a trigger to drop cruise control when de clutching.

I hope all the wiring and pins are there in your car, that could be nasty to put in
