Roof rack from a V50

Hi

Does anybody know if original roof racks / load bars from a Volvo V50 fit on a 850.
The rails (running along the car) on them seem similar.

They look like this

I don't think so. Thule lists different roof racks for the two models. https://www.thule.com/en/is/buyers-guide

And V50 is much smaller car.

The roof lines are VERY different between the P80 wagon and the P1 V50. They most likely won't fit.

No but highly sought after- you should have no problem selling these and getting the right ones for your car from the proceeds. Do you have the wrench for them too?

Obvious thing to check is the width between the rails and can the cross rails be adjusted to fit the earlier cars.

Tool is shown in the picture.
