Hi everybody,me again. Does anybody know the easy way to flush volvo 94 850 turbo cooling system(radiator etc.).Thank you. :?:

It's really quite simple. You can go one of 2 ways. There's a petcock on the passenger side low end of the radiator. You can undo that and let it drain, but beware that the petcock is plastic and easily breaks. A lot of people just undo the lower radiator hose or coolant plug on the engine on the same lower side. After it's drained, you can flush it out (use distilled water after regular water if you're going to use a hose from a tap or something...you don't want cholorine in there) then fill it with 1/2 distilled water and 1/2 Volvo coolant. I wouldn't chance a 3rd party coolant due to the aluminum rad and engine. You'll get some air that surfaces in the expansion tank and watch the level there. That's the only place that you can add coolant from. I blieve our cars take 7.6 quarts, so a gallon of coolant mixed with about the same amount of distilled water will do the trick.
