Proper way to delete headlight wipers.

So one of mine is broken and I've already replaced it once, not going to replace it again.

I know how to remove the arms from the post, but what is the proper thing to do with the squirter hoses? I was thinking of plugging them with a little crimp cap and tucking them back into the bumper. I don't want to cut them off, because I feel like washer fluid will still leak out when I use the squirters.

I think there is a hose near the reservoir, just unplug it. I also disconnected the electrical plugs on each side - it's somewhere near the headlights,then undo the screw at the wiper arm and removed the wiper.

- D/c the electrical connector feeding the wiper motor.
- Remove the wiper arm.
- Get a piece of solid wire (such as copper wire used in Romex cable at home) and twist tie the hose feeding the HL.

I remove them first sign of any trouble. The wipers are a nice gimmick but of little use even here in the snowy midwest. Only my R has them right now.

If you're going to block the fluid tube rather than remove it, an easy and probably the cleanest way I have found is to get a screw that fits reasonably tight and thread it in there. That works really well, is permanent and clean and will not leak. If you remove the feed hose back at the reservoir, you still have to plug something or it will leak.

The driver side motor is pretty easy to remove, passenger side much more of a hassle.
