XC90 2.9 Intake vacuum pressure

I'm curious if anyone can tell me what the vacuum reading should be on the intake manifold? Without the A/C on and the the engine is cold my 2004 shows less than 10in, as the car warms the pressure climbs to 16in. When I rev the engine the pressure gauge drops all the way down. Can anyone tell me if this is normal or what it should be?
