I have an '06 V70 2.5T @ 145k that I bought last year and have driven all over the country. "Committed" would be a fair way to describe my feelings about this car. I assume that the Foxwell NT301 scan tool that IPD sells or the iCarSoft VOLII unit that FCP sells would work just fine on that vintage car. Is there some other preferable scan tool? Might the 2014D VIDA w/ a "full-chip" DICE be worth the effort? I have posted the inverse of this in the VIDA/DICE forum just in case.
Thanks,
Cedric

As the software is pirated legally speaking IPD and FCP can't sell Vida but it's without a doubt the most powerful package that can reach ALL of the onboard modules.
I've heard good things about the iCarsoft unit but the ultimate tool is still Dice with Vida. If you have an internet connection on the laptop you can also have some (if not all) of the modules programmed by some very cluey forum members here on MVS using a Dice.
