My keyvvis stuckvvin ignition. Steering column will not lock. Gear shift is in Park. Every light on panel comes on and horn beeps for a short while then stops. Will not crank. Overide button at base if great shift is missing. Gear shifter moves freely from one position to another regardless ofckey position. Will not crank.

Maybe your car has the ignition interlock that connects to the shifter. Read this:
