Bought the ETM repair kit,don't want breakage

Car occasionally lost (&then refound)power,then would'nt start,had p0171,bought the kit, but I'm a coward when it comes to using force in a case like this.Need to do some cutting&soldering,I'd like to take it in the house,but how do you get this wire off? Looks like just pry it off sideways,since it's under that "tooth". I REALLY don't want to break something.

Thats a lean trim code, not an ETB code - are you sure you are fixing the right thing?

You should have P0120 or P0121 for throttle codes.

You don't pry off the connector at all. If you try to do this you'll break the joints from the board to the connector.

Remove the aluminium rear casing by prying. Then pick out the green or black putty on the sensor 2 side (the side without the bulbous protrusion on the round sensor).
