Lower spring for 98’ v70 xc awd

I was reading about using 850r springs to lower front of v70xc awd. Wondering if anyone can tell me what model year 850r is this from and is this the rear spring for that car? Been having trouble with new oe springs and figured maybe 850 springs would fit better and allow for lowering. Any help appreciated

You have to be careful on lowering the rear of the car as the springs determine the camber of the rear wheels. The rear hub assembly is different to the V70 AWD as the mounting points are located in a slightly different position. So unless you are happy with wearing out the inner edge of the rear tires you may want to find a set of rear hubs from an AWD V/S70.
