VIDA 2014D - Java/ActiveX control question Topic is solved

Do we know which version of java VIDA requires as a base minimum? Reason I ask is I'm now in a situation where on a host system I cannot go past 6u19. What is the minimum VIDA tends to be stable with?

I have a control (not sure if it is java or an Active-X) that is in the Vehicle Profile tab right under Communication tool that isn't active that is for DICE. Got the dreaded Red X instead. Granted the DICE isn't plugged in, but shouldn't this otherwise be displaying? I'm embarrassed to say I had this working and screwed it up at some point in the past while working on something else. I'm guessing a control may not have registered or an update/downgrade blew it to bits.

System:
Win 7 SP1 x64 (all updated except left at IE 9)
Java 6u19 (both x64 and x86 installed)
4GB ram
(OLD Dell Latitude D630 with an SSD that just won't die...)

Suppose I could make a VM of XP, but I really don't want to make it any slower than it has to be. I can reload the machine, just not looking forward to it.

So, I still hate .Net with a passion. It turns out it needs 4.0 not 4.5. Working great now.
