Any recommendations? I'm looking for something that doesn't bite into the hoses ideally...

Wisdom requires knowledge as a prerequisite, but knowledge can be developed due to a lack of wisdom.
In order to learn how to fix something, you must first learn how to break it.

There's a recent thread where I tried to drum up support for a group buy of either ABA or oOettinger clamps...

I did a lot of coolant hoses on my last wagon with screw clamps, decent quality ones too, and was topping off coolant due to small leaks at the clamping points for the rest of the life of that car. So I’m planning on switching to oetiker clamps when I replace them on my v70 in the coming months.
I would have already started on some other hoses but the car just cost me a few hundred chasing a rear braking issue so I put that order off probably until next month.
Here’s what I’m gonna order:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00QK3V4 ... 0DER&psc=1
(Probably mostly too small for the main coolant hoses).
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B017V1AU ... DB5F&psc=1 (Good set for coolant hoses I think but you might need a few larger ones I haven’t sized out yet)
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01IBA4S ... 0DER&psc=1
(Tool that allows you two angles at which to pinch off the clamps)
A cheaper way would be to look for sets that come with some larger clamps and a tool, usually the tool in the sets won’t allow you to come in from the side though.
If you go that way I’d be eager to hear your thoughts, I’ve got the PS hoses at the Resevoir to do first as they’re weeping ever since I replaced the Resevoir and used lower quality screw clamps, then I’ll be moving to the coolant hoses. They are getting a little too soft and swollen for comfort.

Not sure you would use all of those clamps, but the tool is good as it can crimp straight on and on the side.

Constant torque clamps are used in many applications with silicone hoses. Intercooler hoses on commercial trucks running 25# or more boost use those. you can find them on amazon or ebay if you search "constant torque clamps". Breeze brand are good.

Thanks Jimmy, when the lines come in I will stop over and see my aunt-inlaw (is that a thing?) at Mack. If that doesn't pan out, I'll stop by my brother inlaw's work at Cummins.
