My blower motor keeps blowing full speed, when i turn off the car?

Post by Heinefar »

Hey guys.

I have a problem with my blower, in my 1994 850 Ecc.

It blows on full speed, no matter what i do, and it keeps blowing, when the car is turned off.

I have read the diagnostics codes, and they read 411 and 418.

I have tried to change the resistor, ii actually had an opportunity to try 3 different resistors, but all used and of course there's no guarantee that they are working.
It resulted in the blower to not work at all, with all three of the resistors.

The control panel for the climate systems, seems to work in general.

Is there anyone, that has had the same problem and/or know what i can do to fix this issue?

Thank you so much in advance.

Kind regards
Heine

I don't recall exactly but you may want to pull a few of the J relays under the fuse panel lid. Sounds like a stuck relay.
