Just bought a used 2008, when I test drove it everything checked out. Go to pick it up the next day. They tell me they put new pads and rotors on the front and back. Awesome because I didn't expect it. Drive home and all over the place, then I go to reverse back up the driveway and there is an grinding scrapping screeching noise coming from the front. Noticed it a few times on sharp turn but the reverse is REALLY loud. I find it weird that the brakes would only make that sound when backing up.
This thing in a tank!

The first thing to inspect is the metal shield behind rotor. It is very easy to bend that when the spindle is turned to access caliper bracket bolts for pad/rotor change.
