Anyone have any experience with Nakamoto brakes?

I need to do a budget full pad/rotor swap. Yes, I know everyone recommends Akebono/Zimmerman etc etc. I only put 5K on the car annually and don't want to spend $400 on brake parts
These are made in Taiwan, so I imagine they are of better quality than some Chinese rotor castings that commonly warp.

So, anyone use these? They look pretty solid and price is epic.

I installed these (front and rear pads and rotors) last month. Very high quality in appearance. After 900m, they are performing very well. Smooth, modulated and powerful stopping. Quiet with minimal dust. No more pulsation under heavy braking (old front rotors were warped)
Long term use, we'll see. I feel like at $145 for a full kit it was a steal.

Purchased a set front and rear for an 03 GS300 and fronts for an 03 Odyssey from 1A Auto. So far installed on the rear of the Lexus only. No bedding due to being on the rear and has been smooth and quiet. They are wearing very, very smooth and even unlike the AM-AutoParts rear brakes on the 03 Odyssey. Those have rust on them all time and are starting to score.ylwgto wrote: ↑05 Jun 2019, 10:45 I installed these (front and rear pads and rotors) last month. Very high quality in appearance. Both the Lexus and Odyssey have Powerstop front brakes at this time. At first they worked well but after several years with them I would not buy them again.

I have the Zimmerman rotors with Z coat on all 4 plus bosch ceramic Quiet on all 4 on my 2005 Saab 9-2x and I really like the rotors, they don't seem to ever have surface rust.

I had Akebono in front and while there was virtually zero dust, I was disappointed with the braking force as compared to genuine Volvo brakes (the ones that cause silver rims to go black). Just didn't have bite to them. I swapped them out at well before they were done.
