'98 V 70 Base Rear Suspension Spring Length

So, I am going to refresh the rear suspension on my '98 wagon. It has nearly 350K miles on it so I figure it might be nice to replace the original rear springs. The replacements Lesojfors from FCP are about a half inch to an inch longer than the originals. Can I chalk that up to age or are the longer springs a mis-fit?

I have one installed and it looks like it is twisting and canting off to one side. Is that because of the extra length?

I am tempted to reinstall the original.

Thats about the same length I lost in 160k miles

The springs will scrunch down off the jack - maybe post a pic?

I installed Napa springs from eBay about a year back. (Napa with a Proparts label on them... sigh...) They've since settled down about an inch and stopped squeaking (mostly). I never got around to posting about them though. Big different in ride height from the old springs. Not sure there's a big difference in drivability though.

Its hard to tell, idling in traffic.
