H7 (Low Beam) replacement bulb?

Hello gentlemen;
Can anyone tell me what H7 bulb you have used to replace the old fashioned straight "H7" with perhaps a LED H7 or something similar that won't cause an error message to show up on my dashboard? I want to upgrade my low beam bulb but do not want the hassle of error messages and the like showing up.

Low beam bulbs won't give a proper beam pattern if upgraded to led. You're better off getting premium halogen bulbs.

Led bulbs can be a decent upgrade for the high beams.

Osram Night Breaker, Philips Vision. There are probably others.

There is not much you can do to have a better light

I bought Philips H7 Vision for my 2000 V70. I swear the low beams are much dimmer than the OEM Volvo blubs. My battery is fully charged, my grounding wires are good. Still, I find it really hard to see with my low beams on. I will be paying more for premium bulbs or maybe even OEM in the future.

Nobody here has mentioned the possibilty of the dreaded Flaking Reflectors.
If you’re experiencing the scourge of a less than optimal reflective surface
behind your lenses, no lamp, regardless of lumen output is gonna help...

The best way to find that out is to pop off the glass and have a look.
Not the easiest job, but the only real way to check their condition.

And I really like the Sylvania Silver Star Ultras.
A little spendy and totally worth it for my situation.

2002 V70 in the original post is not known for reflector issues but the latter reply from Firefox31 is about a 2000 V70 that is a worst offender vehicle for this problem.
