I am considering replacing the sway bar bushings and while I am at it the end links too. The bushings were replaced by the dealer at 62K miles and now it is making the exact same noise and since I have more than double the mileage I am pretty sure they need to go.
I have done a search and read as much as possible here on the subject, but I would like to ask:
1. What brand of replacement parts is the best? I want something that will have a long life and if it is a bit more costly, so be it.
2. Are urethane bushings worth it?
3.Any tips or advice that anyone has to offer on replacing the bushings. I have read that it is a pain in the backside, so any help will be greatly appreciated and considered. Anyone have any photos of the procedure?
Thanks in advance.
Steve

Endlinks from Quickbrickmotorsports.com are $160 if you are a Volvospeed member here is the link. They are the best. http://www.quickbrickmotorsports.com/prod_endlink.html

Just did this last night.
It took about 5 hours for me, on my 95 850.
It had the original sway bar though, so it was a pain to get it manuevered out. The brackets on it are one piece, they don't come off. That was probably the hardest part of it.
I replaced mine with the one from IPD. I needed the entire bar, and it came with the urethane bushings.
Just be careful about lowering the subframe. You'll need a floorjack or screw jack for this. I put extra jackstands under the car, along with some solid oak wood blocks I had. Didn't want the thing coming down on me !!!
It's not that hard, just be patient. Good luck !
