hoses on purge canister

Hello All, Im taking the brief little time I have on Easter Sunday to ask a brief question..

been chasing a CEL for a couple of weeks now, I have a small leak somewhere in the evap system. I changed the gas cap, I also swapped out the purge valve and checked all the hoses there they seemed "fine", next up the canister!

I found one little hose that seemed to have a crack coming out of the canister and what seemed to be a return towards the gas cap area... Im afraid pull it off and drive to the parts store only to have to wait a couple of days and not be able to get it back on...

anyone have a canister layout with hose information??

I can only assume it’s number 5 on the diagram... here’s where the double verification comes into play!

I’d love to see a photo of the undercarriage if at all possible.. scale is throwing my mind off!

I’m climbing under my car right now and gonna take a photo to place all the details on the table..
