Hi, my mechanic replaced the fuel pump as my Volvo quit on me Jan. 10. He sent it out first to another shop to fix the wiring leading to the pump before he installed the new one. That didn't do the trick and now it jerks and makes a noise it never made before. :( Then he replaced the regulator and that hasn't fixed the problem either. It jerks so badly along with the noise, I'm almost afraid to drive it for fear I'll damage other parts. Any advice on what he's missing on fixing this for me? :?

Also, does anyone know of a good classic Volvo mechanic around the Sherman Oaks, CA area?
