Power Steering Fluid color & correct fuel filter

Post by moonweasel »

2002 S60 base/non-turbo
122,000 miles

Power steering fluid is low, and is a golden yellow/tan sort of color — not ATF red or Pentosin green.

Should my power steering have the Pentosin CHF202 fluid? And if so, do I need to flush the existing fluid before adding it?

Fuel filter is also due to be changed: I know that the exact fuel filter used was changed sometime in 2001 or 2002 and have found conflicting information on which is the correct one for my car. One is short and one is longer — my car currently has the longer one fitted, but how can I confirm that it is the correct one?
