tachometer

Post by carrano »

I have a 1994 940. It has approx. 270,000 miles. Up until today it had been running like new. When I started the engine today, all the dashboard lights came on and the tachometer didn't move. I drove the car around the block and it ran fine, but I put it back in the garage.

A few years ago I had a 2000 S40. While I was driving, the tachometer swung into the red, all the dashboard lights came on and the engine lurched. There was a crack that would have cost $4000 to fix so I got rid of the car. I don't want to get rid of this one.

Suggestions.
