MAF Assembly or sensor

I see some listings for the complete assembly as well as others for just the sensor. Replacing just the sensor looks like an easy job (as long as you have the special screwdriver bit) but replacing the whole thing is fairly simple as well. Any reason to do the full thing instead of just the sensor?

None at all. Just be careful handling the insert which is a bit more exposed once removed
