06 S60 R
Previous owner had the 4C struts replaced with Monroe units just before I bought the car. 40k later the struts have been (still are) great but driver's side spring seat is toast. Presumably the other side is on its way out too; I'm guessing the shop used some aftermarket junk spring seats.
Anything unusual about pulling and disassembling the 4C strut that I should know before going in to replace the spring seats? I am aware of the 4C sensor. I've done lots of strut work on P80 cars.

Nothing unusual, just make certain you have your 4C wire positioned EXACTLY as it should be. I make sure to take plenty of photos of wire routing my first time.
