For about the past 4 months I've been experiencing a noise that occurs when I am turning left and accelerating, like on an onramp or normal left turn from a traffic light. Turning and coasting doesn't make the noise, only while accelerating and turning left. I would describe the noise as: buzzing like a Dremel tool, or like a power steering pump running dry. The noise goes away after the turn forces neutralize, or if I get off the gas pedal. Any Idea what the problem might be?

Boy do I feel stupid! Turns out it was the power steering fluid level, when it's on low a long left turn, the pump will starve of fluid because of the lateral design of the reservoir. I should have known! The noise sounded major and had me worried about something more serious like a wheel bearing or something inside the transmission. Now is a good excuse to go out and flush the power steering fluid like I had planned to for the last few months.

Low roar for the wheel bearing, not like a Dremel
