No, tell us more. It has to be electrically operated hydraulic I assume, to use small motion to lift large weight....?

Here's a YouTube typical video. Seems it's just for 12V battery operated; does not have a combination of AC also.
I still like it with it's only 12V. Will be very convenient for me.

I've never seen one of these. 5 tons is impressive. Make sure you use jack stands as well.

Thanks about the caution!
I currently have a nice high capacity floor jack. I have NEVER EVER jacked the vehicle up, without two jack stands, no matter, even for a quick work. I’m always paranoid about fails. None of my past and present Jack’s have ever failed, but jack stands are always used.

Scissor jacks (even Volvo) are scary. But not as scary as the 60's bumper jacks.

I think a good electric floor jack would be pretty neat. But most ones you can find have negative reviews when used for a while. I would surely like one with a Li-Ion battery. Perhaps the market will move more into this in the future

I have considered all the above Jacks / Lifts and others not mentioned.
Here is one with decent ratings.

After years of using a cheap $20 3 ton floor jack from years gone by it finally gave out. Purchased the QuickJack but returned it after not feeling safe under it. They have some impressive videos showing how safe and sturdy it is but having used one both my Son and I don't feel safe under it so returned it. Not sure if they changed some of design flows I wrote them about.

Then there was the HB Jack Stand recall. After some research settled for 2 of these Jacks and 4 Stands with the safety. Solid as a rock but we still keep the Jacks slightly under pressure in the middle unless it's in the way. Garage didn't have enough height or the van would be much higher. The Jack at the time was not the cheapest nor best quality but Costco return for defects and warranty is just so painless as UPS picked up a broken one. So easy to use and safe!

Yikes almost doubled in price but worth the peace of mind.
