Different (VINs) Vehicles Saved To Same Database - VIDA

I have 2001 Volvo XC70 and another, 2001 Volvo V70XC.
In VIDA 2014D (laptop), I have both Volvos. It just occurred to me that both Volvos show the same Diagnostic reading; Fault Trace Codes. Why so?
Should each VIN (Vehicle) have it's own database linked to the VIN? By the way, the car is not currently connected to the car.

That sure sounds like a software glitch or else the are secretly synching up at night

How close are they parked?

VIDA not reporting the correct fault is not right. I would be fixing the wrong fault code for the wrong car.
